In white card wrappers printed in black, with an illustration by the poet on the front wrapper and a photograph of her on the rear wrapper. 8.25 x 5.5 inches; [6], 26 pages. Light toning and ghost pencil markings on half-title, else clean and crisp. Very Good+. Mona Lisa Saloy, a Black poet of Creole heritage, served as the Poet Laureate of Louisana from 2021-2023. Her work often reflects the New Orleans Creole experience.
