Bound in full tan and brown cowhide, with leather strips threaded through holes punched in the edges, with loop-and-knot fastening, lettering and image of gaucho branded onto front cover, signed "RFL", with sprinkled endpapers and leather page marker. 8 x 5.5 inches; 198, [2] pages (last leaf blank). Gift note on front fly-leaf and signature of former owner on title page. Very slight darkening of the spine and indentation of the front cover at the loop-and-knot closure, else a clean copy in an attractive binding. Very Good+. The author was a friend and literary partner of Jorge Luis Borges.
