Description: Complete set, in original box, of the "Ferdinand the Bull" card game, based on the 1938 Walt Disney movie of the same name. The cards contain images of Ferdinand the Bull, matadores, picadores, banderilleros, and trumpeters. 35 color-illustrated cards (3.5 x 2.25 inches), plus one instructional card, printed on recto and verso. In original cardboard box (6.5 x 5 inches) with pictorial red paper cover on top lid. This item was part of the collection of illustrator Robert Lawson, though there are no ownership markings on it. Lawson was the illustrator of "The Story of Ferdinand," on which the Disney movie "Ferdinand the Bull" was based. Moderate wear and soiling to the lid and slight toning to the otherwise clean and complete set of cards. Very Good overall.
