Bound together with original wrappers in quarter brown calf with marbled paper over boards, marbled endpapers, and gilt-decorated spine with lettering piece stating "Médicins Célèbres." 7 x 4.5 inches; various pagination. "Le Docteur Choussy" is inscribed by the author to the former owner. With the bookplate of the former owner Dr. A. Garrigues. The binding with moderate edgewear and some splitting at the joints, the interior with some browning, foxing, and chipping, but overall, sound and attractive. Very Good.
