Ghost pencil markings on endpapers, light toning to the text, and crushed and edgeworn slipcase. Very Good+ in a Good only slipcase. Ema Blažková was a Czech painter and illustrator. She was one of a group of students arrested and imprisoned at Terezín by the Nazis in 1942. She was again imprisoned by the Nazis in 1944 and by the Communist regime in 1974. She specialized in landscape paintings and portraits, frequently drawing scenes from Prague and portraits of children.
