The author Marvin X (1944-) is a Black Muslim poet, playwright, essayist, director, and lecturer, particularly active in the 1960s and 1970s. He founded the Al Kitab Sudan publishing house in 1967. He has also published under the names El Muhajir and Nazzam al Fitnah Muhajir.
