Translated from the French by Roger Senhouse and Yvonne Moyse. Bound in full orange cloth with lettering and decoration stamped in brown. In original unclipped ($3.00) pictorial dust jacket, with excision on rear panel as in other copies. The jacket was designed by Philip Grushkin, a celebrated book designer who also designed the jacket for de Beauvoir's "The Second Sex" and Betty Smith's "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn." The binding with mild wear and soiling at the edges and spotting to the endpapers and the dust jacket with moderate edgewear and soiling. Overall, Very Good in like dust jacket.
