One of 50 special copies, signed and hand-colored by the author Alla T. Ford. Also signed and inscribed by the author to miniature book collector Dorothy R. Shaw. Published by Ford Press through Opium Books, Hong Kong. Illustrations throughout, including a portrait of Baum and facsimiles of Baumiana, most hand-colored. Bound in full black leatherette over boards, with gilt lettering. 2.5 x 2 inches; [10], 184, [4] pages (first and last leaves adhered to boards as pastedowns. as issued). Very slight bowing to the boards and a small dampstain at the top edge of the text block, only visible from above, else clean and crisp with bright hand-coloring. Very Good+ or better. In addition to being a miniature book publisher and rare book dealer, author Alla T. Ford was one of the original 16 members of The International Wizard of Oz Club founded in 1957.
