Description: President Abraham Lincoln's second inaugural address, published in a limited edition for friends by New York City rare bookseller Philip C. Duschnes. With an illustration by John Rudolph, after the bust of Lincoln by Saint Gaudens. Text printed in black, with an initial and borders printed in red. In blue paper wrappers, sewn with yellow thread, with "With Malice Toward None" printed in red on the front wrapper. The colophon reads: "Five hundred copies have been printed for the friends of Philip & Fanny Duschnes at the Walpole Printing Office, Mount Vernon, New York, in December 1938." 8.5 x 5.5 in; 8 unnumbered pages. Wrappers are very sunned, but a Very Good copy nonetheless with clean interior.
