Description: Miniature book detailing the history of the printing of "Novum Psalterium PII XII," the psalter of Pope Pius XII. One of 200 copies. Mounted on the verso of the half-title is a 1939 3-cent postage stamp commemorating the 300th anniversary of printing in Colonial America. Printed letterpress by Roger Pennels using 8-point Baskerville type. Bound in full blue goatskin over boards, decorated in gilt; all edges gilt. 2.875 x 2 inches; [4], 19, [3] pages. Mild wear to the binding and small ghost pencil markings to the front free endpaper, else clean and crisp. Very Good+ or better.
