Illuminated initials and watercolor vignettes on a total of 46 pages. Printed in red and black. Bound in quarter white cloth with gray paper over boards, with title stamped in gilt on front cover and spine, gray endpapers, and ribbon marker. 8.2 x 5.5 inches; 142, [6] pages. From the collection of Arthur Williams Hall (1873–1952), Massachusetts bibliophile and manufacturer of laboratory equipment, with his pencil notes on the front pastedown; thence by descent through three generations. Light discoloration to front cover and endpapers and spotting to rear turn-in; interior clean and crisp. Near Fine. An exceptionally attractive copy, beautifully illuminated by one of Roycroft's most talented artists.
