On letterhead of The House of Tyrrell Entertainment Enterprises in Chicago. The letter was written during the Red Scare of the McCarthy era and a period of Hollywood blacklisting. In response to a column by Winchell, who supported McCarthy, Tyrrell lists the names of actors, writers, directors, and others in the New York theater scene that he claims are "flaming red" or belong "to every commie front." 2 sheets (typed on recto only, stapled at head); 8.5 x 11 inches.
