In a circa-1935 unsigned binding by the Rose Bindery (Boston) of half red goatskin with marbled paper over boards; spine with five raised bands, gilt in compartments with floral tools and triple-line rules. 7.25 x 4.25 inches; Vol. 1: [2], 358, [2] pages; Vol. 2: [2], 370, [2] pages; Vol. 3: [2], 371, [1] pages. Half-titles wanting, but fly-titles and terminal imprint leaves present. From the collection of Arthur Williams Hall (1873-1952) of Massachusetts, bibliophile and manufacturer of laboratory equipment, with his pencil notes on the front pastedown; thence by descent through three generations.
